Today, our team is using more than 120 plastics bags each day for water. Each month that’s about 2400 plastic bags we put back into the environment. We think Hemlè is becoming a big polluter of their own environment.
Our goal is to end that by digging our own well to provide us with clean water regularly. The price of a good well and about 3 miles worth of pipes to distribute that clean water to the all the 1,500 residents of Botko forever is $25,000.00.
We will be removing more than 28,800 plastic bags from our yearly pollution output. That’s huge. Making a difference, one less plastic bag at a time. We meant, one big well at a time.
As part of our social impact, we will also distribute water from the same well to the entire village of Botko (1,500 people). They will have access to free and clean water forever...
